Solar Heat Pumps from Eagle Solar
With a solar heat pump you can heat your home or business with the
sun. Each unit will heat up to 1000sq feet.
Just think, with 1 unit on each floor of your home you could turn down
the thermostat of your main heating system every time the sun is out.You could
save up to 30% on your heating bill!!! Each unit runs independently of each
other and of your current heating system. The unit consists of a 4' x 7' solar
collecter made from high strength, lighweight aluminum covered by a rugged Lexan
lense, and a high output, 24 volt fan that gets mounted to the interior of your
home or building. The solar collector is mounted on any exterior wall or roof
that has southern exposure. In the past year or so I've been installing these
units for Eagle Solar and I have to admit that despite being very skeptical of
the whole idea I was very impressed by the heat that they pump out. My first
install was in early November of last year. It was rather chilly outside with
partly sunny skies and the unit was putting out a temperature of 148 degrees on
the inside. After I shot the temperature with my trusty laser thermometer I was
sold. I've been in the construction industry almost 20 years now and this is the
first product in a long time that gets a "two thumbs up" from me. The thing that
really gets me going is the fact that once you have it installed there is almost
NO cost of consumption. A 24 volt fan uses up less energy than most alarm clocks!!!!!
